Black biting ants?

Has anyone seen this in Israel? I just pulled one out of my daughters leg and it was quite scary! Is this common for black ants to bite? They don't seem to be fire ants, hence the color, but it wasn't funny. How do you get rid of them in the yard? Advice please!

WiFi hot spots in Rehovot?

Are there any Wi-Fi Hot Spots in Rehovot other than at Kaplan? I need to work while I wait for my phone and Internet access to be set up. Thanks, Josh
